Juniper Motel-Waterfront -King-Dog Friendly- Room 19 🐾

We booked our stay around the time there was a change of hands for this establishment which was a bit confusing on the website. But a phone call helped defuse any concerns. We were surprised however when we learned that there is no staff on site. Rather a code is sent to you prior to check in for entry and a service area is available to stock up on extra towels, coffee, etc. there is no housekeeping unless you request it. The room was large and very clean. The towels were awesome! Easy streaming on the smart TV and a small fridge and microwave offered convenience. Parts of the room were clearly upgraded recently, while others not (furniture, light fixtures, carpet). The mattress was comfortable. The location gave easy and fast access to the quaint downtown area without being in the center of activity. The best feature was the view of Lake Moosehead! Peaceful and relaxing with plenty of Adirondack chairs by the shore. The back porch is a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee on a cool late summer morning. The only disappointment was that the one available washing machine was out of service during our entire visit which was one of the amenities we were counting on for our visit. Overall this property was a good choice for Greenville and I would recommend it

Great location, the room is plain but super clean with very comfortable bed. Bedding, towels, pillows in abundance and great quality. Good shower with jacuzzi tub. Loved the coffee . No office on site but check in and communication a breeze. Management sent a wonderful email a few days ahead with lots of information about the Greenville area
